Virginia Tech Foundation, Inc.
Gifts to the college are managed by the Virginia Tech Foundation Inc., which is located in the University Gateway Center, adjacent to the northwest corner of the Blacksburg campus. The foundation—a 501(c)(3) nonprofit nonstock corporation established in 1948—provides private financial support to enable the forward progress of Virginia Tech. Through successful asset management and the generosity of Virginia Tech alumni and friends, the foundation continues to increase its real estate portfolio, endowment value, and support to university initiatives.
